Yoga & Meditation Classes

Physical yoga asana class is like an active full body massage. A good class is a fully balanced practice that includes breath, physical posture, relaxation and a meditation or intention. Yoga is accessible to all people, all shapes, all sizes and all abilities. Yoga is infinitely adaptable for the individual and has innumerable physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health benefits. Yoga is the Sanskrit word “to join” or “unite”. What aspects of your life would you like to be more connected to?

Heather has been teaching yoga classes, workshops and Teacher Trainings since January 2007. She feels that she is a better version of herself when she practices and encourages you to try it out to see if it is something that works for you.

Heather teaches regular yoga classes at Higher Health Yoga Studio

  • Wednesdays @ 10:30-11:45pm (Mandalas & Mudras)
    • Style: Regular – Warm Room Temperature – A consistent flow sequence circling around the mat & integrating hand mudras during some of the asanas. This is a Yoga Class for students who are comfortable with basic posture.
  • Wednesdays @ 5:30-6:45pm (Beginner Yoga For all Levels)
    • Style: Regular – Warm Room Temperature – BEGINNER Balanced Hatha Yoga for all levels.
  • Thursdays @ 4:30-5:15pm (Warm Yoga Blitz)
    • Style: Warm Room Temperature – Yoga Blitz class means that it goes extra fast. A 45 minute class for all levels.
  • Thursdays @ 5:30-6:45pm (Restorative & Meditation)
    • Style: Warm Room Temperature – RESTORATIVE practice and Meditation. NURTURING Yoga for all levels
  • Fridays @ 4:00-5:10pm (Restorative & Meditation)
    • Style: Warm Room Temperature – RESTORATIVE practice and Meditation. NURTURING Yoga for all levels
